Ford Cabriolet Convertible 1934 images

The 1934 Ford V8 has been tweaked again and now puts out 85 hp (63 kW). There are 14 body style options, but the Tutor is the most popular, while the three window coupe has been dropped from the roster this year. The top of the line DeLuxe sports pin striping, twin chrome horns and the interior is more upscale with wood grain accents. A stolen V8 Ford will go down in history as the vehicle that Bonnie and Clyde met their demise at a police ambush in Louisiana, in May of 1934.

The Fastest New American Muscle Cars on the Road

The 1970s and 1960s were truly good days for the American automobile industry with popular brands such as Pontiac, Ford, and Chevy among others ruling the street and the race track. However, there is a new breed of super-fast muscle cars from the 2010s that are irresistible. Here they are;

2017 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat – 204 Mph

With a 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, this four-door sedan is currently ruling the streets with an impressive 0-60 of 3.4. Thanks to its aerodynamic nature, this machine is both fuel efficient and very fast.

2017 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat

Termed as the most powerful production muscle car of all time, this machine packs an impressive 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. This allows it to sprint from 0 to 60 in 3.5 topping at 199 mph.

2014 Shelby GT500

This is a brutally fast car packing 662 horsepower and 631-pound feet of torque. This machine can do 0 – 60 in 3.5. Its sleek monster design is also impressive.

2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 – 195 Mph

As the baddest of the Camaro lineup, this beat looking machine packs 650 horsepower and 650-pound feet of torque.

2015 Equus Bass 770

  1. Problem is this muscle car’s of the 60s and 70s where also low cost vehicles so the younger generation could not only afford them and insure them…and work on them with most home tools…how many of these v8 muscle cars of today can the young generation afford…let alone insure and work on in there garage without buying computers and special tools?????

  2. muscle cars of the 60s and 70s were just better todays muscle cars don’t even deserve that name they are high performance yes but NOT muscle cars

  3. In all honesty, my ’08 GT500 is quite a bit faster than the ’68 GT500 I had in college.

  4. So this post mentions pontiac ford and chevy….hmmm i think ur missing the best one…mopar!…we had challengers,chargers,dusters,demons,cudas,satellites, GTX’s, road runners…and yet no mention of them in ur initial paragraph…biased much?

    1. Agreed…but it also left out Olds and Buick and I’m sure we’re still missing some of the early ones…

  5. The true muscle cars are from the 60’s and 70’s which is where the name muscle car originated.
